(April 23) – The Methodist Health System Board of Directors recently announced it elected John Collins, a partner at Haynes and Boone, as its new chairman. Collins succeeds Levi Davis, who completed a three-year term.

Collins, a tax expert, has served on the Methodist Health System Board of Directors for almost 15 years. He also serves on the Golden Cross and Methodist Health System Foundation Boards.

“Methodist’s mission of improving and saving lives deeply resonates with me and my family,” Collins said in a statement. “My father was a long-time board member as well, and instilled in me the importance of ensuring quality, compassionate care for all families in our community.”
