After more than quadrupling its Austin office this year, Butler Snow has signed a long-term lease at the SXSW Center to accommodate future growth.
The Mississippi-based law firm – which added seven attorneys in Austin this year, including former Texas Third Court of Appeals Justice Scott Field – has a total of nine attorneys in the capital city. The new space will have offices for 26 attorneys.
Butler Snow will occupy the entire 10th floor of the 13-story SXSW Center in downtown Austin. The firm is planning to move into the 21,000 square foot space in early 2020, according to a press release.
“It was essential to find a signature location that could support our expansion in Austin. The SXSW Center is located in the heart of downtown, and we think it’s the perfect place for us,” Donald Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow, said in a statement.
