A federal judge in Washington, D.C. overseeing a series of antitrust class action lawsuits against American, Southwest and other airlines has appointed Dallas trial lawyer Warren Burns of Burns Charest to a co-leadership role in the litigation. Southwest GC Mark Shaw hired Vinson & Elkins to defend the airline. American hired O’Melveny and Myers.
