By Brooks Igo – (July 7) – Gardere Wynne Sewell announced today that it is boosting its corporate practice group by adding international oil and gas expert Alredo Ramos as a partner in the firm’s Houston office. Ramos was previously the head of the energy and commercial litigation practice groups in the San Antonio office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka.
“Gardere is at the cutting-edge of law firms in Texas,” Ramos said in a statement. “I am truly excited to join such a talented team and to continue developing the Firm as one of the leading Energy and International practices in Texas and Latin America.”
Ramos, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, represents U.S. and Latin American clients throughout all phases of the acquisition and divestiture of mineral properties and regularly handles corporate banking transactions.
Prior to entering private practice at Chamberlain Hrdlicka, Ramos was in-house counsel and Latin American Operations Legal Director for Lewis Energy Group LP.
