Mani Walia: Efficiency, diversity and creativity.

Lawbook: Do you have pet peeves regarding outside counsel?

Walia: Sending too long emails!

Lawbook: What does outside counsel need to know about you?

Walia: GCs are working on so many things, so please bottom-line the answer/recommendation and say “read below” for more information.

Lawbook: How important is pro bono and diversity in your hiring of outside counsel?  

Walia: Diversity is huge. We need more of it in our profession.
