(April 5) – San Francisco-based law firm Sedgwick has moved its Dallas operations from the Comerica Bank building at 1717 Main Street to the KPMG Plaza at Hall Arts in downtown Dallas.

Sedgwick, which opened its North Texas outpost in 2001, has leased 4,000 square feet on the seventh floor of the newly-built office tower.

Maria “Kiki” Karos, who is the managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office, told the Dallas Business Journal that the Arts District office tower was the ideal place for Sedgwick to set up its new office.

The firm is one of the first tenants of a portion of the seventh floor of KPMG Plaza that Dallas-based Hall Group has built out as part of its spec suite program, which has floor plans ranging from 1,790 square feet to 3,701 square feet.

The speculative suites are designed, ready to go with stained concrete, marble, wood and glass tile finishes.

Matt Heidelbaugh of Cushman & Wakefield represented Sedgwick in its real estate lease. Hall Group’s Kim Butler represented the landlord in the deal.
