(April 23) – The State Bar of Texas announced this week that Austin trial attorney David E. Chamberlain was elected chair of its board of directors during the board’s April 10 meeting in Bastrop.
Chamberlain will officially take office during the State Bar’s Annual Meeting in San Antonio on June 18-19 and will serve as chair until June 2016.
A St. Mary’s University School of Law graduate, Chamberlain is the senior partner of Austin-based Chamberlain McHaney. He is the 2015 president of the Texas Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is a former president of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the Austin Bar Association and the Austin Young Lawyers Association.
