Texas Lawbook 50 data shows that three Texas-based law firms and eight national law firms reported at least $3 million in profits per partner and $1.4 million or more in revenue per lawyer in their Texas operations last year.
Houston-headquartered firms Susman Godfrey and Vinson & Elkins and Dallas-founded Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld each topped $1.5 million in RPL in 2023. Susman Godfrey, a litigation boutique, recorded PPP of $6.99 million and RPL of $3.6 million — a truly astonishing year.
