V&E Adds Real Estate Lawyer Carrie Winkler

July 17, 2018 Brooks Igo

Vinson & Elkins announced on Monday that its real estate team is receiving a boost from a familiar face.

Dallas lawyer Carrie Winkler, who was a real estate associate at V&E from 1998 to 2004, has returned to the firm as counsel from Hunton Andrews Kurth.

Winkler represents purchasers and sellers in acquisitions and dispositions of improved and unimproved real estate, developers in the creation of mixed-use condominiums and in the development of full-service and limited-service hotels, lenders and borrowers in the negotiation and preparation of loan documentation and landlords and tenants in the leasing and management of retail, office and industrial properties.

Winkler was involved in representing the developer of full-service hotels in the Legacy West development in Plano and in the Stonebriar Centre in Frisco.
