(Nov. 17) – Weil, Gotshal & Manges recently announced that it was selected as the 2016 Texas Law Firm of the Year by the Oil & Gas Awards at its fourth annual gala this month.
The Oil & Gas Awards, launched in 2013, serves as a platform for the industry to demonstrate and celebrate the advances made in the key areas of environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility and health and safety, according to the announcement.
“Weil’s team has earned a well-deserved reputation as the go-to resource in the industry and is consistently sought out by energy clients on their most challenging assignments, from transformational transactions to bet-the-company litigation,” Rodney Moore, co-managing partner of Weil’s Dallas office, said in a statement.
“We are especially proud of this accomplishment as the award is based not only on our professional achievements but also our community and civic involvement, and recognizes the firm’s significant pro bono activities.”
