Weil’s Michelle Hartmann Named President of Dallas Women Lawyers Association

January 28, 2013 Mark Curriden

Michelle Hartmann, a litigation partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, has been chosen president of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association (DWLA), where she has served on the board the past four years.

Hartmann, who will lead the more than 200 member organization into its 44th year in existence, serves on the board with two other Weil attorneys, Margaret Allen and Angela Zambrano.

The DWLA is not the only organization Hartmann gives her time to. She is also a member of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, a Lifetime Corps Member of Teach for America – an organization through which she formerly taught high school biology as a member of the Teach for America Corps, and volunteers as a child advocate with the Court Appointed Special Advocates

Hartmann focuses her practice at Weil on all aspects of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country, with a particular emphasis on class action and multidistrict litigation, restrictive covenant and trade secrets litigation, and conducting internal investigations.
