Winstead’s Denis Braham Elected Chair of Jewish Federation of Greater Houston

By Brooks Igo – (July 7) – Winstead PC announced recently that Houston shareholder Denis Braham was elected chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston at the Federation’s Annual Meeting in June. For the last ten years, he has served as the organization’s chair of the Israel and Overseas committee and as vice-chair of special projects.

Braham, a transactional attorney, focuses on matters in real estate, sports and corporate law. He has represented the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans and has served as legal counsel to the bid and host committees of Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, the 2010 MLS All-Star Game, the 2011 NCAA Men’s Final Four and the 2013 NBA All-Star Game. Most recently, Braham and his team were involved in Houston’s successful bid to host its second NCAA Men’s Final Four in 2016 and Super Bowl LI in 2017.

The University of Houston Law Center graduate also serves as general counsel to the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau.
