Wick Phillips has recruited Rachael Nelson Gearing to help lead its healthcare practice.

Gearing, who announced the move on LinkedIn, was previously at Dallas-based healthcare law firm Weaver Johnston & Nelson.
She represents hospitals, surgery centers, freestanding emergency centers, physicians and other healthcare providers throughout Texas on complex transactions and regulatory and operational matters.
Wick Phillips has three lawyers in its healthcare practice, according to the firm’s website.
The Dallas-based firm expanded its Uptown office space at 3131 McKinney this year, adding 7,200 square feet to the 30,000 it was occupying. The firm, which has a total lawyer headcount of nearly 100, now has two full floors in the building.
