(May 5) – Global law firm DLA Piper promoted 45 lawyers to partner in 2014, including two in Texas, the firm announced recently.
Christina Ponig, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, is a litigation attorney in the firm’s Houston office. She advises global and domestic energy companies, financial institutions and multinational clients in complex commercial litigation involving business torts, contractual disputes of all kinds, trade secret protection, enforcement of non-competition and non-solicitation provisions, admiralty and multiparty disputes.
Eliot Burris, a SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, is a litigation attorney in the firm’s Dallas office. He has represented clients in state and federal antitrust claims and government investigations, as well as claims of unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, deceptive trade practices, trademark violation, breach of contract, vicarious liability, products liability and tortious interference with contractual relationships.
