(February 4) – The American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division named Mandy Price, a corporate associate in Weil’s Dallas office, its National Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2014, the firm announced recently. She will receive the award on Saturday at the ABA YLD’s Midyear Meeting in Houston.

This is the third “Outstanding Young Lawyer” award Price is taking home from bar associations for 2014. The Texas Young Lawyers Association and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers also recognized her as their winner.

Price, a Harvard Law School graduate, focuses her practice on representing private equity firms and public companies in connection with public and private acquisitions, divestitures and investment transactions. She has been on transaction teams that have advised on a multi-billion dollar sale and the high-profile sales of the Dallas Stars and the Texas Rangers.

Price also serves on Weil’s Associates Committee and in multiple leadership roles in the community. She is a member of the board of directors of the Texas Civil Rights Project and the board of trustees of the ChildCareGroup, a Dallas nonprofit that focuses on expanding quality child care for low-income families.

“[Mandy] is a dedicated, energetic and recognized leader in the legal profession, and is a tireless and passionate advocate for the betterment of those in her community,” Courtney Marcus, co-managing partner of Weil’s Dallas office, said in a statement.
