(July 29) – Texas State Representative Jason Villalba is moving his private law practice from Haynes and Boone to Gardere Wynne Sewell, the firm recently announced.
Villalba, who currently serves as the state representative for House District 114, focuses his corporate practice on representing clients in M&A matters, venture capital and private equity financing transactions and deals involving emerging growth and technology companies.
The University of Texas School of Law graduate is the immediate past vice-president of the Dallas County Republican Party, a member of the board of directors of Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings’ Grow South Fund and a member of the development committee of the Dallas Zoo.
Additionally, he was appointed last year by the Republican State Leadership Committee to serve on the executive committee of the Future Majority Caucus, an initiative to support and elect minorities to state offices.
