Baker Botts Promotes Eight to Partner

(Nov. 17) – Baker Botts recently announced that eight lawyers have been promoted to partner, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Four of the newly-minted partners are based in Houston. The rest are based outside of Texas.

Rachael Lichman, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses her practice on secured and unsecured bank financings, secured and unsecured high-yield debt offerings, private placements of securities and other forms of debt financing.

Jon Lobb specializes in U.S. federal income tax matters involving cross-border transactions, M&A, liquefied natural gas and other energy projects, securities offerings and tax controversy/litigation.

Jeremy Moore, a University of Houston Law Center graduate, centers his corporate practice on M&A, public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities and private equity investments.

Clint Rancher represents issuers and investment banking firms in equity and debt offerings, including Rule 144-A offerings. He also advises on M&A and general corporate matters.
