Prominent Houston litigation firm AZA recently promoted Sammy Ford IV to the partnership.
Ford joined the firm as an associate in 2016 from Abraham Watkins. The University of Texas School of Law graduate and former clerk to Judge Jerry Smith of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals started his career in private practice at Susman Godfrey.
AZA leadership has high praise for the newly-minted partner.
John Zavitsanos says he brings “intelligence, creativity and deep experience to every case he touches” and calls him a “superb lawyer” who is a “natural in front of juries.”
Todd Mensing, who has worked closely with Ford on cases, says he is “the most unflappable and mentally tough lawyer I’ve ever seen.”
Ford focuses his litigation practice on catastrophic personal injury, employment, securities, and complex commercial matters.
