Spencer Fane bolstered its energy regulatory practice in Austin this week with two attorneys from Lloyd Gosselink.
William A. (Cody) Faulk III and Rashmin Asher will bring expertise in utility rate-making proceedings, electric transmission-line routing and retail service area disputes to Spencer Fane, according to energy practice group leader Andrew Brought. Faulk will join as a partner and Asher as an associate.
A sixth-generation lawyer, Faulk focuses his practice on regulatory and enforcement proceedings for municipalities, investor-owned utilities and landowners before the Texas Public Utility Commission, Texas Railroad Commission, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the State Office of Administrative Hearings.
Asher is a former attorney for the Public Utility Commission, where she represented the commission in numerous electric and water administrative and contested-case proceedings. She also gained litigation experience as an assistant district attorney for Brazos County.
