Winstead Names 13 New Shareholders, 12 in Texas

Winstead announced the names of 13 new shareholders, 12 in Texas, on April 1. The new Texas shareholders are:

Tracey S. Bailey, who focuses her practice on real estate finance. She is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a 2004 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law.

Paige Ingram Castañeda, whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, venture capital and debt financings, formation and dissolution of corporations and partnerships, corporate governance, regulatory compliance (including securities, healthcare and insurance regulations) and general business contracts. She is in the firm’s Austin office and is a 2003 graduate of Baylor Law School.

Brannon C. Dillard, whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation, energy litigation, and securities litigation and arbitration. He is in the firm’s Houston office and is a 2003 graduate of Baylor Law School.

Matt Ferris, whose practice focuses on business restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings, and involves the representation of secured lenders, debtors, unsecured creditors, bondholders, indenture trustees, landlords and equipment lessors. He is in the firm’s Dallas office.

Bradley R. Geier, whose practice focuses on representing agents and lenders in complex financing transactions. He is in the firm’s Dallas office.

Jeanne Katz, whose practice focuses on real estate development and investments. She is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a 2004 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law.

Daniel M. Martinez, whose practice focuses on public finance and corporate matters. He is in the firm’s San Antonio office and is a 2004 graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Nick Pyka, whose practice focuses on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, with an emphasis in real estate finance. He is in the firm’s Austin office.

Rebecca Rentz, whose practice focuses on energy and environmental law. In 2007, she was named Environmental Regulator of the Year by the Texas Association of Environmental Professionals. She is in the firm’s Houston office and is a 2000 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.

Kristen L. Sherwin, whose practice focuses on complex civil disputes, with an emphasis on construction litigation and business tort litigation, and broker-dealer litigation. She is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a 2004 graduate of Baylor Law School.

Brian Vanderwoude, whose practice focuses on civil disputes, with an emphasis on contract litigation, business tort litigation, financial services litigation, and real estate litigation. He is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a 2005 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law.

Stephen R. Voelker, whose practice focuses on commercial real estate development, leasing, lending, loan workouts, mortgage servicing, sale-leasebacks and special servicing. He is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a 1985 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law.
