Brooks Igo is the publisher of The Texas Lawbook. He graduated from SMU, where he studied business and journalism. Two months after the launch of The Lawbook and the beginning of his last semester at SMU, Brooks interned with Mark, Sally and The Lawbook. After joining the team full-time, he has worked to build relationships in the Texas legal community and help grow the publication’s readership to more than 13,000 subscribers.
Brooks is on the steering committee for the Dallas chapter of the Legal Marketing Association’s Southwest Region; serves on the boards of The Well Community and the Salvation Army Oak Cliff Corps; and is a supporter of Advocates for Community Transformation (Act).
He, his wife Ashley, daughter June, and son Oliver live in Oak Cliff with their pack of rescue dogs and pig.

Cindy Muller, who joins Jones Walker as special counsel, has substantial experience in senior corporate in-house positions at multiple global oilfield service companies.
Elizabeth Copeland has practiced at Strasburger (now Clark Hill Strasburger) for 25 years.
Based in Dallas, Nemunaitis focuses her practice on debt financing transactions.
Frederic Chang, a real estate transactions expert, will help manage all of the legal activities related to Highland Capital affiliate NexPoint Advisor’s real estate investments.
Wohlford joined the Oklahoma City-based Crowe & Dunlevy in April.
LeRoy was most recently at Sidley Austin, where she led the firm’s Houston litigation group.
Luis Gomar advises energy and finance clients on domestic and international transactions involving divestitures, financing, fund formations, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
