Houston lawyer Susan Myres, president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, says the COVID-19 pandemic has harshly impacted the family law practice. In an interview with Dallas family lawyer and Texas Lawbook contributing writer Charlie Hodges, Myres says the pandemic is having a critical affect in divorce cases involving business leaders over the issue of determining valuation of assets in a turbulent financial marketplace.
Brian L. Webb, one of the most prominent family lawyers in the southwest and a leader of the Texas legal community, died on Friday at the age of 70. Webb helped hundreds of Texans in family law matters during his 44-year career.
