Baker Botts Names Nick Peacock First COO in Firm History

(Aug. 26) – Baker Botts announced this week the hiring of Nick Peacock as the first chief operating officer in firm history.

Peacock, who will be based in Houston, was most recently the regional operating officer of Baker & McKenzie’s North American Operations. Prior to that, he was the chief operation officer of Baker & McKenzie’s Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Korean offices and acting regional operating officer of its Asia Pacific Operations.

He began his career as a corporate finance lawyer in London at Stephenson Harwood and later was a consultant for Bain & Co. and Corven.
