Brown Rudnick, a Boston-founded law firm that opened in Houston three months ago, announced Wednesday that it has added eight intellectual property litigators, including three partners, to its Texas operation.
The IP litigation group from Spencer Fane is led by Erick Robinson and includes partners Jayme Partridge and Jayne Piana and counsel Patrick Dunn.
Brown Rudnick launched its Houston office with the addition of trial lawyers Adam Schiffer and Lauren Varnado in August.
“We are excited to be adding such a talented group of lawyers to our firm,” said Brown Rudnick CEO Vince Guglielmotti. “The team fits perfectly with our strategic plan to grow our presence in Houston while simultaneously focusing on our international IP litigation and technology practices.”
The Brown Rudnick firm made news yesterday as its lawyers are representing the Coalition of Counsel for Justice who are opposing the talc powder settlement proposal offered by Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Red River Talc in the Southern District of Texas.
