Cantey Hanger’s Lee Wilkins Receives Award from Meritas

May 9, 2013 Mark Curriden

Cantey Hanger’s Lee Wilkins, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Dallas office, is the recipient of the 2013 Grahovac Award, presented by peers to a Meritas lawyer who exhibits an exceptional level of commitment and service to the organization.

“It’s a great honor to be involved in Meritas and to have received this Grahovac Award,” Wilkins said in a statement. “Meritas, with its Quality Assurance Program and ongoing client satisfaction reviews, is an affiliation of excellent law firms throughout the world. The relationships we make in Meritas and the confidence I have in other Meritas firms benefit our clients tremendously, time and again.”

Meritas is an alliance of nearly 7,000 lawyers and 180 law firms in all 50 states and 70 different countries based on the principles of excellence, trust, cooperation and recognized expertise.

Wilkins is the chairman of Cantey Hanger’s business law section and focuses his practice on mergers & acquisitions, venture capital financing, corporate governance, real estate acquisitions, sales, foreclosures, commercial and real estate finance, taxable and tax-exempt bond transactions, and securitizations.
