(January 30) — Jordan Cowman, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas office, became chairman of the Texas Business Hall of Fame (TBHF) after serving as its president in 2013, the firm announced. He has served on the TBHF since 2003.
The University of Texas School of Law graduate focuses his practice on transnational projects and transactions, international agreements, public international law and policy, human capital and corporate compliance, including anti-corruption and FCPA.
“As we celebrate our tenth year in Dallas and in Texas, we are pleased to see our lawyers take active leadership roles in this community,” Stephen Carlin, managing shareholder of the firm’s Dallas office, said in a statement. “Jordan has a proven record of civic and legal leadership. We are thrilled to see him become chairman of the Texas Business Hall of Fame and we stand with him as he works to recognize business leaders, entrepreneurs and business students across the state of Texas.”
TBFH is an education non-profit with a mission to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of Texas business leaders and to perpetuate and inspire entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity and community leadership in all generations of Texans, according to its website.
