(Feb. 16) – The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce recently appointed Greenberg Traurig shareholder Demetrius McDaniel to a two-year term on its Board of Directors.

McDaniel, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, is a member of the firm’s executive committee and the chair of the firm’s Texas Government Law & Policy Practice.

“All of us at Greenberg Traurig are very proud of Demetrius’ continuing commitment of his time and talent to our city and state,” Darrell Windham, Austin office co-managing shareholder, said in a statement. “Greenberg Traurig is an investor/partner in Opportunity Austin, and we are long-standing members of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce President’s Advisory Board.”
