Premium Subscriber Q&A with Jenna Castleman, GC at Alterman

October 29, 2026 Mark Curriden

Texas Lawbook: What has been your best day at Alterman?

Jenna Castleman: There have been a lot of good days, but the most meaningful moments are usually when I see someone on my team accomplish something they were not sure they could do. My parents invested everything they could in me and never stopped pushing me to become more than I thought I could be. Throughout my career, mentors and colleagues also believed in me, opened doors and gave me opportunities I could not have created entirely on my own. I feel an obligation to do the same for others. When someone on my team takes on a difficult negotiation, develops expertise in a new area, earns the trust of an executive or business leader, or simply realizes they are capable of more than they thought, those are probably my best days.
