Scott F. Mascianica, a government enforcement and investigations partner, has joined Bradley in Dallas from Hilgers PLLC. He will focus on government enforcement proceedings, internal investigations and related litigation involving securities, regulatory and white-collar matters, according to a news release.
Before joining Bradley, Mascianica led the Government Enforcement & Investigation practice at Hilgers. With more than 20 years of experience, he has advised companies, boards, audit committees, auditors, regulated entities and individuals in complex enforcement proceedings and interval investigations. Earlier in his career, Mascianica served as an assistant director in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he supervised more than 150 confidential investigations. He also served as a special assistant U.S. attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, prosecuting securities-related misconduct.

Bradley is included in the Texas Lawbook 50 for lawyer headcount. The firm ranked No. 33 in 2024 and increased its Texas lawyer count by 11.6 percent to 106. Those lawyers generated $81.1 million dollars in revenue that year, an increase of 25 percent.

Mascianica represents companies and individuals in investigations and enforcement actions brought by agencies including the SEC, DOJ, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Commodity Futures Trading Commission, as well as state regulators. His work included defending entities and individuals in high-stakes regulatory investigations, conducting internal investigations for boards and audit committees and advising on corporate governance, compliance and enforcement risk.
