Rob Velevis, an associate in Sidley Austin’s Dallas office, was honored by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) with the 2013 Daniel R. Ginsberg Leadership Award at its National Commission Meeting in November. He was the first young leader from the North Texas/Oklahoma Regional office to receive the award.
The award is given in recognition of leadership in the fight against anti-Semitism, racism and all forms of prejudice. Velevis, who has been a member of the ADL’s North Texas/Oklahoma Regional Board since 2010, regularly handles pro bono matters for ADL including a significant class action against the State of Texas concerning the treatment and institutionalization of people with disabilities.
The Harvard Law School graduate focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation.
