(May 6) – The Texas Bar Foundation recently announced the six recipients of its Outstanding 50 Year Lawyer Award.
David Beck, Buck Files, Phil Hardberger, David Hittner, Darrell Jordan and Dee Kelly will be recognized for “adhering to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession and service to the public” at the Foundation’s Annual Dinner at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio on June 19.
Beck is the founder of Beck Redden, a Houston-based litigation boutique.
Files is a criminal defense attorney in Tyler.
Hardberger is a shareholder at Cox Smith and former mayor of San Antonio.
Hittner is a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, where he recently presided over the Allen Sanford trial.
Jordan is a partner in Dallas at Diamond McCarthy.
Kelly is the founding partner of Fort Worth-based law firm Kelly Hart & Hallman.
