(July 14) – Vinson & Elkins recently announced that Dallas partner Tom Leatherbury has been named chair of the Yale Alumni Fund Board of Directors. He will serve a two-year term.
The 125-year-old Yale Alumni Fund provides immediate monetary support for Yale’s highest priority initiatives. It is governed by a board of directors made up of about 75 Yale alumni, and is led by a 12-member Executive Committee.
Leatherbury, who is co-head of V&E’s appellate practice and chairman of talent management, received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Yale. Both of his sons also graduated from Yale.
