(February 4) – The Texas Bar Foundation has elected Dallas trial attorney Chris Hamilton, named partner of Standly Hamilton, as a Fellow, the firm recently announced.

Hamilton, a UT School of Law graduate, won a $27 million verdict against McDonald’s last summer in a premises liability case. He said in a statement that he is honored to be named a Fellow.

“This group is dedicated to improving the profession of the law by assisting the public and lawyers alike, which are noble goals that every attorney should aspired to achieve,” he said in the statement.

Only one-third of 1 percent of State Bar of Texas members are selected each year for invitation to be a Fellow. It is the largest charitably-funded bar foundation in the country.
