(April 27) – Gray Reed recently announced it picked up a team of five commercial litigators led by Darin Brooks from Beirne, Maynard & Parsons.
Brooks, who joins as a shareholder, said he and his team of John George, Jr., Meagan Glover, Kent Harkness and Brian Waters are ready to “jump in, grab an oar and help the firm move forward.
“I was at a crossroads at Beirne, Maynard & Parsons with my practice and career and with how I wanted it to look like,” said Brooks, whose clients include ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66 and AIG.
The Baylor University School of Law graduate says he is seeing an increase in energy litigation. He has recently represented ConocoPhillips in a number of landowner disputes in the Eagle Ford Shale.
