The law firm of Griffin Bell, Sam Nunn and Larry Thompson has done well during its two decades in Houston. King & Spalding has 84 lawyers in Texas and looking to grow. To lead its efforts, the firm has turned to Tracie Renfroe, a 1985 alum of Baylor School of Law who has represented Shell Oil, Chevron and other Texas companies in environmental and toxic tort litigation.
