White & Case Signs Former GC of Linde Engineering N.A.

April 11, 2019 Brooks Igo

The head of legal services and compliance officer of Houston-based Linde Engineering North America Inc. has joined White & Case as a partner.

Ryan Hopkins will work in the firm’s global project development and finance practice and global construction group, where he rejoins his former King & Spalding colleague David Strickland.

Hopkins represents clients in a variety of industries on projects ranging from $10 million to more than $ 4.5 billion, according to his firm bio.

“Ryan’s highly specialized expertise with EPC projects makes him a rare commodity that will enable us to expand our ability to serve our clients from the inception of projects through the construction and operation phases,” Jason Webber, co-head of the White & Case Global Oil & Gas Industry Group, said in a statement.

Prior to his 11 month tenure as general counsel of Linde Engineering, Hopkins worked in the corporate legal department at Air Liquide in Houston and Calgary.
