By Brooks Igo
(Nov. 30) – Michael Hoffman, former managing director of legal services for Greystar Real Estate Partners, has joined Thomas Title & Escrow as chief operating officer and general counsel, the company announced this month.
Thomas Title & Escrow, with operations in Dallas, is a national provider of title insurance, real estate settlement and escrow services for both foreign and domestic transactions.
Hoffman managed the legal and compliance service needs for the management services division of Greystar, which became the largest multi-family property management services provider in the U.S. after its merger with Riverstone Residential Group in 2014.
Hoffman is also a past president of the Vogel Alcove, a nonprofit providing childcare and social services to young homeless children in the Dallas area.
